Why IP Adria

How we are different

Focus

IP only

We handle intellectual property exclusively. That focus shows in response times, advice quality and depth of regional knowledge.

Structure

One contact.
Six countries.

Single point of contact
for all six jurisdictions.
One email. One response. No gaps between countries.

Speed

24-hour response

New inquiries receive a substantive response within 24 hours. Standard advice within 48–72 hours. We know that delays have commercial consequences.

Approach

Proactive by default

When an inquiry concerns one jurisdiction, we assess whether related action across the region would benefit your client – and flag it. Always with your prior approval.

Access

Direct communication

All matters are handled directly. No account managers. No handoffs. The person who answers your email knows your matter.

Jurisdictions

Six countries.
Full IP coverage.

Each country in Southeast Europe has its own IP office, registration procedures and enforcement framework. IP Adria provides full coverage across all six jurisdictions – with detailed knowledge of local procedures, timelines and requirements.

Serbia

ZIS – Intellectual Property
Office of Serbia.

EU candidate state. Well-established trademark system. Madrid Protocol member. Opposition system in place. Foreign applicants must use a local representative.

Bosnia & Herzegovina

Property of BiH

Two-entity administrative system requiring specific local knowledge. Madrid Protocol member. Mandatory local representation for foreign applicants.

Montenegro

Office of Montenegro
